Today I had to upgrade Exim on my RedHat and my FreeBSD machine.
The experience was hugely different in the two cases and highlights to me again that RPM is from the Devil.
Most of us have seen these XML icons all over the net thesedays, especially on blogs. Infact you should see one bottom left on this very page. This icon is the placeholder for what some believe is the way of the future for any news and discussion publishing system – called RSS (DMOZ) it consists of a simple XML format that clients pull on-demand and view in special application software.
One of the great things about London is the huge change it goes through from Summer to Winter. During summer sunset can be as late as 10pm while in Winter it may be 3:50pm. This means that during the normal waking hours you get the oppertunity to experience the full array of London from midday to sunset to darkness, and all this during the time directly after work, this makes for excellent easily accessible photo oppertunities for city workers like myself.
Many people use their company email addresses for all sorts of things. Others use web mail services like Hotmail or Yahoo for personal email. These weren’t good options for me as I have always had my own domains and so forth.
When my previous methods of hosting email became unreliable forcing me to make changes often – moving it around from host to host and so forth – I decided to get my own dedicated server.
