iPod
I have been using a iPod for about a month now. For the most part I love it.

I usually use PGP to encrypt things like password lists and so forth. This is not always optimal as I sometimes worry about loosing my keys and would instead just want a simple password crypted file.
OpenSSL provides a simple method for encrypting and decrypting that is available on most Unix machines thesedays and even some Windows machines.
I often wonder about the quality of a RSS feed before adding it to my aggregator, something quick and simple. I installed Infinite Penguins RSS viewer and wrote a bookmarklet to access it easily, just drag the bookmarklet to your bookmark toolbar and type in a RSS url when prompted.
It is amasing how in a large city you learn to completely block out the world sometimes, you are never alone and people tend to have an amasing ability to just ignore others completely, you see this especially on the Tube where people just completely turn off.
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s MS Knowledge base RSS feeds I discover gmane.org. This is a totally amasing service that takes common mailing lists such as those from various Open Source projects, remove spam, remove cross posts and pop them into a NTTP server. At the moment it carries 4272 groups and 9377095 posts.
This is amasing for me since it moves more things out of my mail client and into my Aggregator which happens to have really nice NTTP support.
