These pages documents full configuration of Asterisk PBX to provide the following features:
IVR Service allowing you to listen to your current network status, including full details of individual critical statuses using Nagios as monitoring system.
Incoming and outgoing telephone calls using Sipgate.
The main aim is to provide a service I call into and listen to service statuses for my network, I want to be told by the computer about each outage as shown by nagios in the format 'host: host name service: service name', I would also like to be able to press 1 during any service being read to acknowledge that outage in nagios to stop it sending repeat alerts for this service.
My nagios notifications gets delivered to Jabber, Email and SMS though only the most important outages get reported via SMS, acknowledging outages will stop repeat alerts while I am trying to get to a computer to attend to any problem.
